My unreleased Sabreswords set

Hello everybody, Alan here for another post here at AJH HJA. Today is the team I created two years ago to be part of the HCIHL (Hockey Concept Ideas Hockey League) fantasy league, early this year after the season ended I decide to change my team's look again but switch the colors from green to orange as the main color for my team, as September came no e-mails came to me so that means no HCIHL this year for me, I'm O.K. with that with my work schedule randomly changing ever week to even an odd 3 times within a week that were I can easily lose track and forgot about doing my fantasy team, with not doing any fantasy leagues this year it's pretty much for me to take a break from doing fantasy sports.  I'll wait and see if this league decides to make a come back next year, and when it does I'll be in that league in a heart beat (I'm hoping.) This link will take you to my last year set, now here's what could have been this year.

The main logo I did was a small change the "S" within the logo changed from white with green trim, to green with white trim. The white jersey is still the same only the logo but the color jersey is different, it's all orange with orange socks, and orange helmet. I kept the pants green to make the set more balance look.

Well that's that. No more concepts for the rest of month, I'm debating on whether or not I should put together a rant, it'll be more likely thoughts  about Icethetics yearly "Jersey Watch" post. Until then Happy Holidays everyone!

London Sabreswords 2014-15 set

Hello I'm Alan, I'll get elbow to my head, so you don't have to. Remember my HCIHL team the London Sabreswords? Well it's been awhile since the last time I posted anything Sabreswords was the Christmas post featuring the team's special event jersey, since then it's been quiet mainly because I've been struggling in the 2nd half of the season, and in the end my team finished dead last. Now coming for 2014-15 season the HCIHL added two more teams, and redesign the uniforms! I decide to do a little tweaks on both the logo and jerseys. Last year colors was Kelly green, antique gold, and black. For 2014-15 season is Forest green, and orange. Here's my 2013-14 set both the logo, and my jerseys. Now here's my new set for 2014-15 season!

The Logo

I updated the logo by making the handle to make it more real then bulky.

The Jerseys

The jerseys are simple, simple stripes on the arms, the hem, and even on the yokes as trim. This template is Nike witch means it featured that stupid fake lase, so I put the "S" with the stripes on the bottom to replaced the fake lase, witch was the inspiration of  my IIHF concepts.

Now with that out of the way questions is "Will I be making some Special Event Jerseys?" Maybe depends if I feel like doing it, who knows. I got my "Summer of Concept Contributor" put together and ready to go, unless if you got a concept, and want to send it to me. Until then, I'm Alan, I'll get elbow to my head, so you don't have to.

2013 Christmas Post!

Hey Everyone, I'm Alan, I'll get an elbow to my head, so you don't have to. It's Christmas! I got a Sabreswords special event jersey and a hockey jersey from Geekyjerseys.com! Let's get going.

London Sabreswords Special Event: Christmas Game

This jersey is base on my Montreal Olympiques IceHL set I made for the contest back from summer of this year. The logo was pretty much redesigned to make the Christmas theme happen, add two trees, a star on top of the blade, and add Christmas lights around the blade to top it off. Lastly the Colors of Christmas as finishing touches to this jersey.

North Pole Nicks Jersey

Up points: For a Christmas theme jersey, this one is well tamed. The logo is sharp and cool! The arms and hem stripes are Christmas sweater pattern, but not over the top.
Down point: The numbers and nameplate is a standard block that is plain, with the lack of trim around the numbers, and nameplate is a downer.
Overall: Good Christmas jersey, but needs trim around the numbers, and nameplate to give some life.
My Jersey Collection Rate: Buy it when it's on sale!

Well, that's today post and for the rest of the week!
Until then Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkahs, Happy Kwanza, Happy Decemberween, Happy whatever Holiday you're celebrating.  I'm Alan, I'll get an elbow to my head, so you don't have to.

Wednesday: Filler plus Contributor

Hi everybody, it's just an another day, and another post by me. I got a filler from my Remembrance Day game jersey, plus an HCIHL Concept by a Contributor! Let's not waste time and get going.

Remembrance Day game logo prototype before the final touch (by me)
This one was my logo before changing the blade from silver to gold, and a little poppy that placed on the jersey.

Evansville Rivermen Jersey (by Caden)
An HCIHL set from Caden. I like the front hem of a city, small logo up on right chest, blue, gold, and white as the teams colors never old, and never dull. The only downer on this one is the lack of numbers and nameplates. Overall: Good set but without the numbers and nameplates it's blank. Score: 6.5/10

Well that's today post til then, later.

London Sabreswords Special Event: Remembrance Day Game

On this since today is Remembrance Day I made this one for my HCIHL team, the London Sabreswords. The jersey is base on an alternate jersey from my California Golden Seals Concept only recolored to red, black, and white. The logo has a maple leaf on it, and the blade is gold. I used the Sens old fonts for both the numbers and nameplate, and finally I replaced the "Reebok" word mark with an poppy.

So that it for today more stuff this week, and check out Hockey Concept Ideas, I post every Saturday. Until then later.

London Sabreswords Special Event Jersey

Hello everyone it's Halloween and what better way to have Halloween then do a special event jersey for my HCIHL's London Sabreswords and here it is.

Using the Boston Bruins old alternate jersey from 1995 to 2006 change the gold to orange, use my SF Piezolectric font for both the numbers, and nameplates from my template page. Finally modified the main logo by replace the "S" with the Jack-o-lantern face to fit this theme.

Well that's my concept for today, there will be some more special events for my HCIHL team in the future.
Until then, later.
