Lone Contributor 4: A silver line for a leaf

Hello I'm Alan, I'll get elbow to my head, so you don't have to. Last call for sending any of your silly concepts for this years April's fools day post, if you have any concepts that has rivals color/logo switch, special events, parodys, and so on. If have any silly concepts send them to me at ajhftw@gmail.com, so that I can put together for this year April fools day post.
With that aside, today I got another concept from a contributor, an different contributor this week so let's get to it.
Toronto Maple Leafs Alternate Concept [by Joey F]
Up points: Using the teams old shoulder patch as the main logo in the front with some tweaks on it, is O.K. with me. Adding white trim around the number that gives them a better look on the concept. The tie-down collar and yoke with trim combo is a good move. Lastly nice use the hem stripe with the white trim on it.
Down point: The cuffs is alright, but doesn't fit this concept to me.
My suggestion: Get rid of the cuffs and put the arm stripes with the same treatment as the hem stripe.

Well that's this week post, remember if have any silly concepts send them to me at ajhftw@gmail.com for this year April's fools day post, until then later.

Lone Contributor 3: Turtle Power!

Hello I'm Alan, I'll get elbow to my head, so you don't have to. Playoffs is coming very close as we speak of, and it's a close race for those playoff spots.
Just to repeat from my last week post, I got no concepts made for my "April Fools Day" post, it's pretty much my tradition in doing it, and it maybe a good chance it'll never happen if I don't get my butt going. Unless you can make it happen, I'm thinking of an April Fools day post featuring Contributors! If you have any concepts that has rivals color/logo switch, special events, parodys, and so on.

And now to concept contributors.

Maryland Terrapins NCAA concept [by Ricky]
Up points: Compare to the messed up set that the school's football team wore years ago, this one is pretty much tamed. The arm stripes, and the yokes is well place. Lastly putting the state's flag patterns on the numbers that you can barely see is O.K. with me.
Down points: The terrapin above the work mark logo, and front number combo is good but I felt that it should be use only on the alternate jersey.
My Suggestion: Replace the terrapin above the work mark logo, and front number combo on the white, and dark with just the terrapin with "M" on the chest.

Well that's today's post. Until then, I'm Alan, I'll get elbow to my head, so you don't have to.

Team Canada Spengler Cup Version

Hello I'm Alan, I'll get elbow to my head, so you don't have to. Well the trade deadline is in the books witch means we are now on the final stretch of this year NHL season. Who's going to the playoffs? Who will not? We'll have to wait and see.
Today I got both an concept, and some rants about the some trades that caught my eye.

St. Louis and Callahan swap teams
St. Louis was traded to the big apple New York Rangers, while Mr. Callahan heads south to play for the Tampa Bay Lightning. What’s makes it intrusting is that they were Captain, the question is will they get the “C” with their new team? Probably not, but who knows we’ll have to wait and see.

Loungo as the Canuck no more!
After all the drama that happened in Vancouver for lord knows how long came to an end, or to some nucks fans a bitter end. I never knew the day that this would happened, from the failure to win the Stanley Cup, the early first round elimination 2 years in a row, the starting goalie saga, and the list goes on. But not anymore as he got traded to the team he made a name for himself years ago, the Florida Panthers. Last night he made an impact by making 25 saves, help the Panthers beat the Sabres 2-0, and earned a shutout, talk about moving on! With some little tweaks on the rosters, the Panthers can be a real playoff contenders for real. With this trade can this be the Vancouver Canucks ultimate down fall?

Enough rant, on to the concept

Team Canada concept Spengler Cup Version by me
My Team Canada concept number 3, but this one is for the Spengler Cup. Made the arms cut off for ads, the logo has the maple leaf with 12 hockey sticks, symbolizing the 12 Spengler Cup titles this team won.

Double Contributors

Hello I'm Alan, I'll get elbow to my head, so you don't have to. Well the NHL's outdoor games are going to be done, and history! What better way to salute this year then have not 1, but 2 contributor concepts here on AJH HJA. Let's get going.

Pittsburgh vs. Chicago Stadium Series Concept [by Ricky]
Pittsburgh
Up points: Gold as the main color on the jersey is a good move to my mind. The robo Penguin make a return is alright with me. Lastly the design base on the team's first ever alternate jersey never get too old for me.
Down points: 2 things. 1. No hem stripe makes the jersey look uncompleted, and 2. The grey wrist stripe looks plain to me.
My suggestion: Add hem stripes, and give some touches to that grey wrist stripes some more love just like the others.
Chicago
Up points: The stripes is well put together, and the red numbers is an eye popper for me.
Down points: Red under the arms, and the red helmet throw this concept off to me.
My suggestion: Make the red under the arms, and the red helmet black.

Team Kazakhstan Concept [by Joey F.]
Up points: The design on the jersey is simple, but with the angle pattern slap on it gave it that "Team Kazakhstan" written all over it. Nameplate is Blue Jackets font, but fits the theme on this concept. Lastly nice job on the "C" patch there.
Down point: The only thing is the lack of white, that's all.
My suggestion: Add some white on the jersey from replace a yellow stripe, to add white trim around the numbers.

Well that's today post, hope you all enjoy it, even without an concept by me. I'm on competition mode right now this week, so don't expect and new post from me on this site for now, and working afternoon shift this week ain't making it easy for me, but I do have an partner helping me out with this one, hopefully we get this sucker done in time before the due date. Until then, I'm Alan, I'll get elbow to my head, so you don't have to.
