London Sabreswords Special Event Jersey

Hello everyone it's Halloween and what better way to have Halloween then do a special event jersey for my HCIHL's London Sabreswords and here it is.

Using the Boston Bruins old alternate jersey from 1995 to 2006 change the gold to orange, use my SF Piezolectric font for both the numbers, and nameplates from my template page. Finally modified the main logo by replace the "S" with the Jack-o-lantern face to fit this theme.

Well that's my concept for today, there will be some more special events for my HCIHL team in the future.

Team Prussia Concept

Hi everyone today is Saturday, or what my inner anime fan called this day "Hetalia Day!" This is based on an anime series called Hetalia, it started as a web comic series, then became a manga book series, and lastly an anime series. It's a good show to watch in fact I own DVDs of this series, the characters in this series are representations of countries from where they came from to even their cultural, even Canada (he not like your average Canadian!) the show itself is pretty much somewhat like a variety show so many segments in 5 minutes, and this series is still going right now. Back to characters thing, there is this one character that represent what used to be a country thanks to WWII, that country named "Prussia." I went on Wikipedia about it and to think this country was once powerful now no more, what make this shocking to me is the list of other country that used to be Prussia is crazy. But enough talking about WWII stuff, with myself watching Hetalia it gave me the inspiration to do a Team Prussia Concept.

Just a simple concept with the main crest based from Prussia's flag, angle stripes on the arms, straight hem in the front, and curved hem on the back. The colors are black, white, and Vegas gold.

Team Greece Concept

This is Team Greece concept that I made for the HJC "IIHF Bottom 10" contest. I enter this on last week, now this week is voting and there are some good ones that got my vote! On this concept it's simple with 4 stripes on the arms, hem, and on the shoulders to somewhat represent the country's flag, with the country's blue and white color with silver trim on the the numbers, nameplate, and on the main logo with modified wordmark and the flag shield made by me.

Soviet Union Concept

This Soviet Union concept was part of a contest from HJC, as you can see diamonds stripes on both arms, and hem. Standard block on both numbers, and nameplates. The colors are red, black, yellow, and white. So that's my concept for today.

Top 5 Favorite Team Canada Jersey

Last week I posted my thoughts on Team Canada's new set for the 2014 Olympics games, and I'm not pleased with it. They'll never be on my list of favorite team Canada jerseys or just "jersey" period. So with today is Thanksgiving Day I decide to do my Top 5 favorite team Canada jersey, and believe me these are pictures snapped by me yours truly.

5. 1974 Team Canada white jersey

Very nostalgia this one is, the right stripes, and the right amount of maple leafs on the jerseys, and the " Canada" script was the nice touch, it's really a clean and classic jersey.

4. 2009 Team Canada alternate jersey

Old school style 3rds are never an easy task, it's one of them things you need to get it right, and this one is right on the spot! Darker shade of red is an eye popper, the design on the leaf both the front, and on the arms is cool, and the team Canada hockey logo on the shoulder is nice. Overall this is well worth the price tag!

3. 2010 Team Canada Red jersey

This one is special to me because I bought it before the Olympics even started, in fact I wore this at my home watching the Gold medal game against Team U.S.A. Ah the memories, anyway the jersey is nicely well made, simple stripes on both arms and hem, both team Canada hockey logo on one arm, and the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics logo on the other arm. Lastly the front logo is very well design. Overall a nice jersey.

2. 2002 Team Canada Black jersey

This one may not been played in the 2002 Olympics, but it was played in other international tournaments including the 2004 World Cup (or so I heard) it was one month after the 2002 Olympics I bought this bad boy, it's one of the best black jersey ever.

And the Number 1 of the Top 5 Favorite Team Canada Jersey is.....
1. 1972 Team Canada jersey

This is the best jersey I ever own, this was a Christmas gift from my parents. For a jersey made by "Roger Edwards" this is as close to the real deal jerseys worn by the 72 Team Canada that played the Summit Series. All stitched to perfection from front and back, this is nostalgia written all over it.
