AJH HJA Update: My Computer Saga

Hi everyone how a going, have good week so far? Well I'm not having a good week so far, why you may ask? Well it all started last Sunday I woke up for a new day, as always I turn on the and it's on but nothing happened the fan kept running fast and loud while at the same time it beeps, it was very weird for my computer to act like this, until this evening my sister came over, check out my computer, and found out my motherboard is toast, I'm in a state of shock for my computer to go bad it's only 3 years old (give it 2 more months and it'll be 4, so it means I got to get my self a new motherboard witch is stinks, the good news is the memory on my computer is still good so no worry on that department it just the motherboard without it My computer is useless, unless my sis can find the best motherboard for my computer, until then I'll be more likely not post any of my concepts on this site only blogs, witch is not a easy task with using only my iPod touch, luckily I got most of my concepts on dates I set for time being, it'll be weeks or longer before my computer get back in action, until then.

North Bay Concept

We all know now (if not here's the link for the story) the Brampton Battalion are going to move to North Bay after this season, since then everyone is claiming that they should be called the North Bay Centennials from the old days before moving to Saginaw in 2002, others say that they should keep the Battalion name witch I don't mind it the only 2 things I would like to change. Number 1: Change the Olive color to a different shade of green, Olive is a a okay color for a army theme but it just does not work on here. And Number 2: The Main Crest! Drop the soldier's head it looks bad, it was alright in the beginning but it's got to go. However I actually did those two things with this concept as part of my "OHL Redesign Quest".

This one I try to keep it simple but effective, simple arm stripe design, the color looks like Olive some what with a lighter shade I was gunning for "John Deere Green" color, it was a tough call, the main crest I kept the wordmark because I can see the potential of a good wordmark logo for this North Bay team, copied the "N" and "B" from the wordmark logo in order to make it stands for "North Bay" with "Soldier stripes" behind to fit the Battalion theme, made a secondary logo for the shoulder patch it's just the "N" and "B" above the soldier stripes.

So that's my North Bay Battalion concept here's my little picture of my concept crest making in the works.

As you can see I pretty much went mad on this, up in left corner was my first attempt at making a crest using a soldier's head clipart it was a good idea until I add the "NB" letters on it I felt like I can do better so I put the soldier stripes behind the "NB" letters, on the right upper corner down I try out different colors to see witch color fits the crest better, and at the bottom my final look for my main crest included the shoulder patch.

Kingston Frontenacs Concept

Now you can just say it's just another simple concept, but this one has "Own Original Look" written all over, not copying the Bruins current set, nor that god awful set they got right now *ugh* not in a mood to show it you all, But I will however tell you all about this concept mainly the main crest, I thin out the spoke to look like their old main crest with thin lines around the crest, simple 3 stripes on the arms, simple classy hem stripes, 2 out lines around the yokes to finish it, O.K. I used the Bruins fonts for both letters and numbers but it gave me that creative flow feel to it.

Two concepts fixed in one post

Howdy everyone yeah last Sunday at 12am this site hit 9000 views I had to post a pic of Vegeta from Dragonball Z saying "It's over 9000!" just for fun that's all.

Two concepts I made that I decide to give a little update well more like a fonts change and that's all so here we go.

Sarina Sting

On the first Sting concept I said the number fonts was standard block with pointy ends after I put the "Sarina Sting Concepts" title in Demonized font I felt that it would look better using that for the numbers and so I did, it took me a while sizing the sucker down to the same size as normal size number after that the concept look more complete so hopefully throw the detail text on this concept and it's ready for HJC.

Sudbury Wolves

 Two months ago I made this concept witch this one was the reason for me to do all other OHL teams. However at HJC a poster like my concept and compliment my text with the concept, but he felt that standard fonts would fit this concept better and boy how he was right after I change the fonts on the number it look alot better then I was expecting it, however I'm keeping the Ducks Fonts on the NOB I really find it more fitting to me.

Binghamton Senators Specialty Jersey

Just got back from watching the Dresden Kings Jr.C game and I feel like posting another concept here, I'm not going to put details on it, it's just a concept that I entered for the HJC Binghamton Senators Specialty Jersey contest.

Sarina Sting Concepts

In the Mid 2012 the Sarina Sting OHL Hockey Team had a 3rd jersey design context and I did enter my work at that contest, but it didn't win, however I made some other Sting 3rd concepts, for my blogger the one concept that I made I didn't choose for the contest so I decide for my OHL Redesign Mission I that for it with some tweaks to it.

This concept is base on their first set from the early days only the difference is instead of lines it's honeycombs the fonts on the NOB is standard, the fonts on the numbers is the same but made it pointy at the ends, and of course the Stinger with the hockey stick as the main crest and the the beehive for the shoulder patch.

So there's my first concept of 2013,  sorry for the lack of posting stuff, alot of stuff going on that I didn't expect to happened all in one mostly with NHL lockout ended that I didn't see that coming, so I'll leave it at that for another time if I get in rant mode feel kicking in, hopefully I post another concept soon until then.

AJH HJA "New Look!"

Hi everyone Happy New Year! This is my new look, pretty good huh? Well I don't want to brag it's just a simple change of the header, and colors that's all, nothing too big but here's the evolution of my header.

This was my first header for my blogger with blue background, this was my first using two templates the "CCM" template, and the Reebok template, shrink them to a good size not too big, not too small, just right. Add my main crest on the front add text on and here we are.

This on is the same only with the black background instead of the blue.

One week after I change the background I discover that the hem stripe didn't match the arm stripe, so I fixed and it was like that ever since.

A big overhaul was need it I made the letters "AJHHJA" to make look like a hockey jersey, with my main crest on the one side, and a hockey stick with a puck on the other side, with my London Knights colors and that's all, there's going to be some more changes along the way but for now this will do hopefully this week if not next week I'll get a concept going for now.
