2013-14 Chatham Jr.B Maroons Ian Faubert Breast Cancer Awareness Night Jersey

On October 27, 2013 was the Breast Cancer Awareness Night at Chatham (my hometown) a charity event to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society and the Breast Buddies dragon boat racing group. For the third year in a row I attend to this game out of how many years this team been doing this event, and also at this event there's a silent auction for the pink jerseys that they wore at the game.

It was weird seeing the Maroons wearing a lighter shade of pink unlike their last two were darker pink, also it's funny seeing the Maroons in an lighter pink jersey match against the Leamington Flyers that wore white jersey instead of red jersey, but then again the last two years the Maroons wore the darker pink jersey, while their opponents wore dark uniforms.

 The silent auction went through well, and after 3 years of attempting to bid as much money I had and got out bid, I finally got myself an jersey, it felt good of winning this bid for an jersey not only as part of my hockey jersey collection, but also to raised money for Canadian Cancer Society, and feel proud of helping the community.

Today's featured jersey is a 2013-14 Chatham Jr.B Maroons Ian Faubert Breast Cancer Awareness Night Jersey This jersey maybe plain pink practice jersey with the Maroons logo on it, and size large, but surprisingly it fits the players equipment, and it's autographed by Ian Faubert himself.
